What is making Mumlife Chic?

This is our motto and by this we mean making mumlife easier - below are Hannahs top tips  (tried and tested and with feedback from other mums) on ho to make life as a mother just that little bit easier

  • calendar.jpeg

    Keep a family calendar.

    Buy a personlized version

It's possible that I never fully recovered from "pregnancy brain," so I write everything down and use a family planning calendar so a) I don't forgot and b) the whole family can check the schedule so their is no double booking!!

  • Baby Presents

    Buy Gifts in Advance

    Shop gifts for little ones

Again using the excuse of the baby brain and last minute birthday invites - buy a variety of gifts in advance to save a lot of hassle (and embarrassment)

  • Mother and a Child

Use a great baby sitting service

    Book today

Wether it’s getting out with the hubby, friends or just having some quality important time to your self - booking a professional baby sitter for a night, day or weekend is worth every penny (and might even save your sanity!)

    Practical fashion!

    Shop zipper babygrows

Don’t buy outfits with awkward buckles, buttons, zippers and cute but completely impractical shoe laces! Ask yourself “How easy will this be to put on in a mega rush” every time you buy

  • WARDROBE.jpg

Pick out outfits for the week

    Buy a wardrobe rail

Planning outfits in advance can safe invaluable time every morning weather its for you or your child.

  • Toddler with Toys

Keep a basket of "going out things" by the door

    Shop storage solutions

Bags of crayons, small books, coloring books, stickers, toy cars, animals etc. If you have last minute plans, you can just grab them and go.

Keep an "oops" kit in the car

    Buy the storage box

A bag that contains an extra set of clothes (for everyone in the family!) some nappies, wet-wipes, a potty, 100 AED, a few snacks, an umbrella, a flashlight, and a first aid kit - you just never know!!.

  • Minimal Design

DECLUTTER! Less stuff = less cleanup!

Book a home consulation to help

It really is mind-boggling how having kids means more stuff. And all that stuff needs a place to live otherwise it feels like you are drowning in all. the. stuff. If everything has a place, and the kids know where those designated places are, then cleaning up is much quicker.

  • Yoga at Home

Exercise - good for the mind & body

    Book home yoga

Especially if you're working long hours at a desk, it's really essential to keep your body moving. I'm increasingly convinced that exercise is great for your mind, as well-as the long-term health benefits. When work and family get busy, it's easy for exercise to be one of the first things to go. But don't let it. You have to take care of yourself.

  • Organic Vegetable Market

Download & use a grocery app

    Try Kibsons

I get so distracted in the supermarket and come home with the most random stuff -  saving my favorites in an app means my food shopping now takes 5 minutes instead of 1hour!

  • Hair Salon

Don't waist time at the hairdressers

    Book home hair services

Is their anything better than that feeling of new hair without actually having to leave the house?

  • Ballet Dolls

    Buy 2!

Make sure to swap them around

If you child has a favorite toy buy a second one and stash it—it will save a lot of tears when “Bunny" gets destroyed by the dog.

  • Juicy Bite

    Get baby food delivered

Baby weaning was an headache not only did I have to spend so much time researching what you can and cant find them but the prepping and making the food. Having food delivered, already made to my door is a true game changer.

    For a quick clean

    Shop the collection

When it comes to quickly cleaning the kids room Ia stylish kiddies pool is a great way to throw all the toys go inside. Better then putting them away 100 times a day!"

    Pick your battles

It’s okay to let some things slide

A wise teaching colleague advised me once that you have to pick your battles. Otherwise you spend all your time battling and nagging and cranky. And ain’t nobody got time for that.

    A drawstring rug for toys

    Buy yours

Baby weaning was an headache not only did I have to spend so much time researching what you can and cant find them but the prepping and making the food. Having food delivered, already made to my door is a true game changer.
