Children just love to mimic their parents - it is how they learn basic skills develop traits "just like Mum and Dad".
Not sure about other households but we certainly spend most of our family time in the kitchen so it is especially nice for children to have toys that allow them to "copy" the grown ups.
I think the kitchens I have chosen below would be the envy of lots of Mum's - they look so good and are fantastic for children's role play.
