Prep time: 2 minutes
Estimated Cost: 20 AED
Mess level: High
Age: 2 plus
What you need:
Pudding (I used three boxes to fill this tub)
Various other toys – mini construction vehicles and small pets are what we used
First, mix up the pudding and left it to set.
Then, crumble up Oreo dirt.
Hide some worms in the “mud”
Add construction trucks / animals to give it an “on the farm” feel and let them dive in.
Sensory activities are so great for toddlers!
It allows them to learn and create in a safe, stimulating play environment.
Toddlers learn so much by playing with their surroundings – especially when it’s messy play (OK that last part is just my opinion).
And what is more than fun than a giant bowl of mud and dirt that they can play with, lick off and eat!!!
Ways to adapt:
There are so many other ideas for this “muddy” play:
Use it in a fun mud kitchen set up
Hide alphabet letters in the mud
Scoop and pour the mud using cups and funnels
