Fabric Map ,Animals,Endangered Land,Animals (Includes panda and gorilla),Monkey and Apes,Dolphins and,Whales,Exotic Birds
Instructions:
Use a map and place it on the floor/low table and you can either use modeling behaviors first or depending on their age they can work out on their own where all the various elements go.
Benefits:
I love how Montessori encourages using hands-on materials for learning. Geography material can be abstract for a child, but it doesn't have to be! For this concrete activity here children are learning all about animals and continents.

Depending on the age of your child you can adapt this to add the following for them to place on the map

Sand/Desert
Ice/Arctic and Antarctica
